EANmatch is a digital service operated by EANmatch (VAT: DK-39223090, Hesteskoen 9, 9480 Løkken, Denmark).

By accessing or using EANmatch, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The Service

EANmatch provides digital tools and automation products for e-commerce merchants, including EAN data processing, compliance solutions, and workflow automations. Services are provided "as is" and may evolve over time. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where possible.

2. Credit-Based Products

  • Consumption: 1 credit = 1 EAN processed.
  • Execution Trigger: Credits are deducted at the moment a processing request is submitted, regardless of the outcome.
  • User Input Responsibility: You are responsible for submitting correctly formatted EANs. Invalid inputs (e.g., letters, spaces, duplicates, or formatting errors) will still be processed and consume credits.
  • No Refunds: All credit purchases are final and non-refundable. Credits do not expire but cannot be converted to cash.
  • EU Right of Withdrawal: By completing a credit purchase, you acknowledge that the digital service is performed immediately and expressly waive your right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU.

3. Tools & Automation Products

Tools and automation products are sold as one-time purchases and include 30 days of setup support from the date of purchase.

  • Right of Withdrawal: As a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the date of purchase, provided that setup or onboarding has not yet commenced.
  • Loss of Withdrawal Right: If you explicitly request that setup or onboarding begin within the 14-day withdrawal period, you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is forfeited upon commencement of the service.
  • Support Period: The 30-day support period begins on the date of purchase. Support is provided via email at info@eanmatch.com and covers setup and configuration assistance only.
  • Delivery: Digital products are delivered electronically. We do not ship physical goods.

4. Data Accuracy & Third-Party Sources

Some EANmatch services retrieve data from external marketplaces and third-party sources outside our control.

  • No Guarantee: We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of third-party data.
  • No Liability: We are not responsible for any business decisions made based on results provided by EANmatch. Results are informational only.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use EANmatch solely for lawful business purposes. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Automated scraping, reverse engineering, or unauthorized access to any part of the system
  • Attempts to bypass, exploit, or manipulate the credit system
  • Reselling or redistributing EANmatch results, tools, or access without written permission
  • Any use that violates applicable local, national, or EU law

6. Account & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. All activity carried out under your account is your responsibility. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately at info@eanmatch.com.

7. Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Attempt to exploit or abuse the system
  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent or suspicious activity

In cases of termination due to abuse, unused credits and active product support periods will not be refunded.

8. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable and uninterrupted service but do not guarantee availability at all times. Scheduled maintenance, updates, or third-party issues may temporarily affect performance. We will communicate planned downtime where reasonably possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EANmatch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or business interruption. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 30 days preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Danish courts.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of EANmatch after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
